Bio put somebody through the mill?

can anyone tell me if the disorder [47, XYY syndrome] is a sex-linked trait or an autosomal trait please. I cant find anything
Short answer: 47 XYY syndrome have no definite motive. It is caused by an impressive partition (a non-disjunction) of the Y chromosome foremost to two instead of one Y chromosome in the cell.
It's a trisomy of the sex chromosome. Normal males have one X and one Y chromosome; the Y chromosome is what determines that you're manly (females are XX). XYY males are typically taller than normal and nearby is some heavily disputed evidence that they may be more prone to aggressive behavior. It isn't really something I would describe as a "disorder" as such; they just own an extra Y chromosome. They're basically usual males and the chromosomes themselves are not faulty--it happens because they don't separate properly when the sperm cell that fertilized the mother's egg be created.
Autosomal traits are those that are passed on the "numbered" chromosomes 1 through 22.
